Hi, I’m Chrissy—tech educator, cancer survivor, cruise lover, and passionate travel advisor.
About half way through my decade working as a web developer at Yale, my world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Beating cancer gave me a new lease on life—and a new perspective on what truly matters. I wanted to make a bigger impact, so I transitioned into teaching and have spent over ten years helping high school students explore the world of technology.
Throughout it all, travel has been my constant source of joy and renewal. Whether kayaking some of America’s most stunning rivers with fellow cancer survivors, RVing cross-country with my husband, or exploring the ancient wonders of Greece and Turkey on a school field trip, I’ve found that travel isn’t just about the destination—it’s about growth, connection, and freedom.
These days, I specialize in cruise travel, with a particular love (okay, obsession) for Virgin Voyages. I also spend time each year soaking up the energy of Las Vegas and adventuring whenever and wherever I can. As a travel advisor, I bring my experience, educator’s heart, and love for exploration to help others create unforgettable journeys of their own.
