Go With Chrissy

Travel like no one is watching.. I'll help.

Why Me?

A lot of folks (my past self included) think you have to pay a travel agent to use one. Spoiler alert: you don’t! Travel advisors earn commission from the supplier—and that commission is paid whether you book through an agent or go it alone. Wild, right?

So if the price is the same either way, wouldn’t you rather get personalized service and support a super “nice,” hard-working gal like… well, me?

Wanna Be an Agent?

There’s a ton of confusion online about how to get started. Ask Google and you’ll tumble into a pit of misinformation, outdated blogs, and the occasional conspiracy theory. I hacked my way through all of that, and here’s the big secret: it’s actually not that hard.

Step one? Find a host agency. They hold the licenses, handle the logistics, and hopefully offer solid training and support—plus a commission split that doesn’t make you wince.

My host is Cornerstone Travel
California SOT #2158353-50
Florida SOT Ref. #ST44927

Once you’re set up with your host, you can dive into supplier training. Cornerstone has been fantastic—not just with their own training, but with access to a huge range of cruise lines, resorts, tour operators… you name it. It’s taken me a little time to build the business the way I want it, but I’ve never once felt like I was on my own.

(And getting the commission back on my own vacations? Yeah… that part definitely doesn’t suck.)

Cornerstone is not an MLM, but they do reward referrals. So if you decide to join them, I’d love the shout-out—just tell them ChrissyRainville sent you!
